We celebrated Christmas with a few other missionary families at our house this year. We sang english worship songs and tried to sing some Christmas songs, but it's just not the same without the big choirs and celebrations of all the churches in the states. You don't know what you have until it's gone. 

Goodmorning Christmas! A kids favorite morning of the year. 

What do you do when someone wants to get baptized in the middle of winter but it's too cold to do it in the river? Well our bathtub seemed appropriate. Here's Stacy and Sasha laughing because they weren't sure if his head would fit. 

This was taken in early December just before we gave away the rest of our litter of eight puppies. We were sad to see them go, but so relieved to find homes for all of them. 

Caleb's favorite part about making gingerbread houses was rolling out the dough and eating the dough. 

In early December we managed to make some gingerbread houses. It wasn't much different than when we make houses back in America because as usual it was a huge task getting our roofs to stay on.  

Yes I know it's January, but I have some catching up to do. So this is from November. Can you guess what holiday we were celebrating here? It was a good day for giving thanks at the Summay house.
