And just so you don't think these blogs are just about Caleb. Here's what the big boys do most days...dress up...dress up....dress up Posted by Hello

Thanks to everyone who prayed for me. My parents couldn't believe it. Two days after the doctors casted me...I got up and walked with no pain. My leg is healed. The cast is all gone. Thank you Jesus! Posted by Hello

So now I'm back to my usual get up and go. My favorite thing to do is torture our cat, pepper, and pour liquids out wherever I can find them. Posted by Hello

Thanksgiving at Dubrovniks with the Cawley's Posted by Hello

Adventures with the Cawley's

Lynn and Rex Cawley came and spent an eventful three days with us. We stayed up late talking about the Lord and watched in amazement as the Lord worked miracles through Lynn's counseling. She's a psychologist and brings the Lord into her counseling sessions. We went to Dubrovniks for our Thanksgiving day meal. It didn't feel much like Thanksgiving without the Turkey and football, but what a blessing to have friends from home with us. Thanks again Rex and Lynn.

Romance in Paris

Ten years ago Stacy came home on his lunchbreak to marry me. He threw on his nicest outfit complete with tie and we headed out the door. I was 7 months pregnant. We walked to the church around the corner and said our vows. Then we walked back home and he went back to work. Now ten years later Stacy surprised me with a trip to Paris. He asked for help and we received donations right away. We were given enough money for plane tickets, a hotel stay, and lots of spending money. Praise God! Our hotel was an adorable little place with a view of the Eiffel Tower. I am still choked up about it. When he told me we were going, I had to turn around and hide my tears. I've always wanted to go to Paris. I took French in high school. And then there we were for five days eating up the sights.

In our hotel in front of the Eiffel Tower Posted by Hello

tourists in Paris

If you ever go to Paris, just remember, get your metro brain ready and your walking shoes broken in. We walked non-stop. We probably spent most of our time in Paris underground riding the metro. Now I know why they sell t-shirts with a map of the metro to tourists. By far the best part of Paris is the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. We had been warned that the French don't like Americans, but we had a great experience and everywhere we went people were polite and friendly. One of our highlights was going to an Indian restaurant called 'Punjabs.' We got to eat all our favorite things from our past trip to Nepal. We ate huge hamburgers at Planet Hollywood on the Champs Elysee. And we tried the famous hot chocolate at Angelina's by the Louvre. It was like a really long date. Everywhere you look there are couples on romantic getaways. We missed the boys only a little. Shhh! Don't tell. We left so refreshed and ready to go back to Bosnia. Thank you to all who helped us get there.
